This donation is made in memory of Nathaniel Bosum who was inducted, posthumously, into the Hall of Fame on November 5, 2022. The Cree Nation are delighted to be able to donate this package as it reflects an important part of Nathaniel’s identity and commitment to protecting and promoting the traditional Cree way of life which was so important for him and which he engaged in whenever he could. He contributed not only to the sport of motocross racing but to indigenous people throughout Canada and particularly to his home community of Ouje-Bougoumou. Nathaniel was a proud member of the Cree Nation and the way he conducted himself during his motocross career, he served as an exemplary ambassador for the Cree people of James Bay in Quebec, while also becoming a respected role model for so many of the Nation’s youth.
